DLQ management with Spring MDP

JBossMQ clearly states that it does not support DLQ management when the message is consumed outside an MDB (like a Spring message driven pojo). I assume it's still the case in the latest version since we have the problem with JBossAS 4.2.3

Does HornetQ provides full support for DLQ in that context?

HornetQ is not related to JBoss MQ at all.
