Which version is statble to use it.

It is definitely production ready in the context of the coming EPP 5.

It is opensource but you only have access to the binaries if you have a supported contract with Red Hat, see  http://www.jboss.com/products/platforms/portals/. This is the version we can offer support for, hence the one we recommend for production.

Where did you see the mention that GateIn PC was not production ready ? It's still misleading.

For the JSR-286 implementation, this project can also be used standalone as it is shipped with a simple portal and tag library to build layouts. This is not designed for production usage but can be used for prorotyping or development of portlets.

We need to change this, its sounds like we are saying that the GateIn PC is not production ready rather than the simple portal which is shipped with the GateIn PC is not production ready. I don't think we should even mention the simple portal here, people should just be using GateIn instead.

Does Gatein PC supports WSRP? Can we expose the portlet build on Gatein PC with the help of WSRP?

ok, I understand the confusion. It's PC alone with its simple-portal and controller that should not be used verbatim but through the portal.

For WSRP it's supported through the portal.
