erasmomarciano May 6, 2010 7:24 AM (in response to saswatamandal)Hi
I suggest to tune up this parameters
this is for prefork MPM
<IfModule mpm_prefork_module>
StartServers 5
MinSpareServers 5
MaxSpareServers 10
MaxClients 150
MaxRequestsPerChild 0
</IfModule>
this is for Worker MPM
<IfModule mpm_worker_module>
StartServers 2
MaxClients 150
MinSpareThreads 25
MaxSpareThreads 75
ThreadsPerChild 25
MaxRequestsPerChild 0
</IfModule>
You should also setup http KeepAlive stuff accordingly.

erasmomarciano May 6, 2010 8:50 AM (in response to saswatamandal)Hi.
It strictly depends on your frontend/backend environment and/or number of concurrent users.
Apache is a great flexible piece of sw and let you set it up the way you need.
Please check the apache manual for more references and details.
