CommandButton embedded inside a Column of a scrollableDataTa

I have a CommandButton embedded inside a column of a scrollableDataTable, problem is whenever i click the commandButton the actionListener does not get invoked, Please how do i resolve this problem

rendered="#{plan.signButtonEnabled}"
