1. Re: richfaces4 Function 'rich:element' not found for rich:hotKey
ilya_shaikovsky May 26, 2010 8:41 AM (in response to dejela)at first 4.x do not has rich:hotKey for now. rich:element available but ony with latest snapshots. And b.t.w. now we adjusting the build.. and now it's required to use not only three jars you specified... so in order to play with 4.x (if you want to check current state) It would be easier to checkout full 4.x sources, build from root with sandbox and trunk profiles(right now there are also some problems but should be done till the end of the week ) and play with richfaces-showcase or core-demo examples.

dejela May 31, 2010 9:07 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Hi Ilya.
The week passed
When do you plan to release the BETA?
If I check out the project now, and build it myself - what components will not work?
Will JSF2 VDL and functionality of custom components like here http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-jsf2fu2/index.html#tip3 work?

unfortunatelly we still not posted the follow up on yesterday's meeting there http://community.jboss.org/wiki/RichFacesTeamMeetingInformation (could be usefull in future if you want to check our plans periodically)
but as you see there - http://community.jboss.org/message/545636#545636 release is comming

what we have for now in readme.txt from ui module attached. you could use new richfaecs-showcase application after build to see them in action.

It's completelly JSF 2 based branch. So all the JSF 2 features supported out of the box.
