ListShuttle problem

When i press the button messages show the error shown below

"Component mainForm:form1:listShuttleAuthorList has invalid value expression

i have a phaselistener in my project;

if i remove phaseListener  from faces-congif  everything is ok

<lifecycle>
        <phase-listener>com.corner.security.CornerPhaseListener</phase-listener>
    </lifecycle>

if put this code page messages shows Component mainForm:form1:listShuttleAuthorList has invalid value expression

to i put  <lifecycle>  again      i works but i couldnt understand some times works sometimes doesnt work 
        <phase-listener>com.corner.security.CornerPhaseListener</phase-listener>
    </lifecycle>

should i remove listShuttle?

you should use converter for LS Objects and implement equals and hashCode for them properly. sample at demosite. (sources available in svn http://jboss.org/richfaces/demos)
