Where is the configuration to overwrite the class UIPortalComponent

Where can I define in my extension portal configuration or the GateIn configuration that I want to use a subclass of the class org.exoplatform.portal.webui.portal.UIPortalComponent?

You are only able to overwrite classes which are considerd as component services. You could refer to PicoContainer as a underlying framework used in GateIn
