Richfaces alone

  I'm new to rich and I'm wondering if I need to add implementations like MyFaces core or Trinidad to Richfaces libraries to make my JSF project working ?

RichFaces framework and component library buit as extension on top of JSF but not implementing spec itself. so yes, you have to include any richfaces implementation (Sun Mojara, or MyFaces) to your application,
