question on replication across data centres

We got a use case for replication across data centres. The following page got brainstorming information around this topic, that is JBoss Cache based originally. Basically, our use case is very close to the primary/backup clusters set up, with a hot standby ready to take over for a disaster recovery. For infinispan, is the same solution recommended? Any other suggestions on how to implement this?
