Building rich:columngroup dynamically possible?

Hello I need to create a columngroup similar to the example
http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/dataTable.jsf?tab=usage&cid=3241514

However, I need to do this dynamically for the columns and the nested columns ie.

Main Column
A col | B Col | C col

Can this be done in RichFaces

I think I can accomplish this just by modeling the row values in a class and outjecting them as a list and iterating within the columngroup?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In the following example my handler.tableBuilder getter method is never called. What is the best way to peform this type of operation?
