Deployment JSF Richfaces

Hi Everybody,

I tried deploying jsf richfaces application in JBoss 5.0.1GA but it always gives me deployment exception.

Can anybody please provide sample jsf-richfaces application? Seam should not be part of this application.

When i configure including seam then it works fine thats why i want code that includes only jsf-richfaces?

Check this tutorial:

For me it works on GlassFish (v2.1 and v3), but should not be a problem also for JBoss.

Actually i have already gone through that link but after making all those changes my war file is still can not be deployed. Can you please share your war file which can be deployed in JBoss 5.01GA.

Hi Prakhar,

My WAR file is configured for GlassFish v3 and probably you will need to configure yours for JBoss 5.01.

What exception you are getting when you try to deploy the WAR file?

Hi Rogger,

Thank you so much for looking into the issue.

Initially the problem was coming because i was trying to use JSF-Facelets-Richfaces but later on i used JSF-Richfaces which worked fine then i included facelets which also didn't give any problem.

So step by step things worked for me.
