Hi ,

I want to start webserver in https protocal ..

i installed apache in my system. its working fine. but i need to run a web server in https.

Plz any one help me..

Do you mean how to enabling https in JBoss? Then perhaps these links can help (JBoss Web container is based on Tomcat):

i installed  apache in my ststem . its running fine when im using this url http://172.x.x.x/

but i want to run webserver in this url https://172.x.x.x/

shall i want to change any configuration in httpd.conf file for that issue??

if im running this url https://172.x.x.x/,its shows the following error

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 172.x.x.x

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
