    adding new configuration to the JBoss As Server

      HI

       

      i want to add a new configuration to the JBoss As server directory other than default ,all , standard , minimal and web . now my question , how do i do that and also is there any restriction  ?

          Just take the config you want, and copy the whole directory as another name. For example, copy server/default as server/foobar. That is all there is to it. Persoanlly, I never run default, all, web, etc. I always copy the config I want as a different name and run that.

           

          The only restriction I can think of is to avoid spaces in the new config name - some Java libraries cannot spaces in paths.
