ilya_shaikovsky Oct 27, 2010 1:31 AM (in response to richfacesfan)Filter creation is neither JSF nor RF specific. It's better to check standard Servlets documentation. Or you need filter to extend RF in some specific way?

4. Re: filter in richfaces
ziyang Oct 27, 2010 9:42 AM (in response to richfacesfan)I used filter in my project. I don't think there is anything special.
1. create your filter class
2. configure filter in the web.xml
Here is my configuration in web.xml
<filter>
<filter-name>SessionFilter</filter-name>
<filter-class>com.test.SessionFilter</filter-class>
</filter>
<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>SessionFilter</filter-name>
<url-pattern>*.jsf</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>Let's discuss if you have any questions.
