Starting process from ejb call?

Hello,

is it a problem to start an other process (executable)

from an ejb call? I think again scaling the JBoss is the main problem.

Is there a possibility to integrate code which exist only as an executable?

Start another process is from JEE spec the same (or more fatal) as starting a new Thread.
Because it is an access to environment!
