a4j:push questions

I like the a4j:push-component:-) and have 5 questions:

- Is a4j:push build up by Comet support.

- Does a4j:push in rf 4.0 makes use of  asynch-support of servlet api 3.0

- For what is the interval-property? I have thought that push is pushed by server and not by client. ("dont call us, we call u").

- Do I need something like Athmosphere-API  when using a4j:push ? Where lies the difference?

I would also like to know if Ajax Push in final Richfaces will be REAL push (no polling), which would be really great.
