I m planing to migrate richfaces 3.3 to richfaces m4.

what are the jar files to be added?

whether config maven is necesssary?

if i added the jar files i m getting this error

Class 'org.richfaces.renderkit.html.AjaxPollRenderer' is not an instance of 'class javax.faces.render.Renderer'

Please check readme-ui.txt file located in the distribution for the list.

Maven is not required to use RF4.

What application server & JSF version are you using?

whether to run richfaces m4  we need jboss server6 ?or earlier version jboss5 its enough?

RF 4.x requires JSF 2.0, so you can use either JBoss 6 or update JBoss 5 to use JSF 2.0.
