1. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
seto Dec 28, 2010 12:28 AM (in response to seto)Could anyone tell me? If the value of cache is modified, is there a feature to synchronize the modification to the others in the cluster? If so, please tell me. If not, so I have to implement it to do the dirty check like things. Is that right?

sannegrinovero Jan 3, 2011 6:55 AM (in response to seto)Hello, sorry I'm not sure I understood your question. What do you mean by synchronize ?

3. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
seto Jan 3, 2011 9:21 AM (in response to sannegrinovero)I means that, distribute the modification on the cache object to other nodes.
I have to cache.put("xxx",xxx) again to update the xxx object to the cache. Is there any feature that can automatically distribute the xxx object modification to other nodes without manually put xxx again to "xxx".

4. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
seto Jan 4, 2011 11:03 PM (in response to seto)cache.put("xxx",xxx);
xxx.yyy=2;//modification on xxx
cache.put("xxx",xxx);
Is there any way to automatically update the xxx to the cache, without manully put again. That's what I need.
Currently I'm developing a game server using Infinispan with CacheStore as data layer, Teiid as data integration layer, Netty as async network layer.
So I'm with the need of distribute the modification automatically to the other nodes in cluster.

5. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
mircea.markus Jan 5, 2011 4:29 AM (in response to seto)I guess you're using a replicated cache/distributed in this case. Right now you'd need to refresh the objects in cache by hand.

6. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
seto Jan 5, 2011 6:05 AM (in response to mircea.markus)Yes. I'm using distributed in this case. I check the documentation. It's said that I should use distribute mode in a number of 10 or lower nodes.
So I'm using distribute mode. If I don't wanto to refresh by hand. Which mode I should use? I'm using the infinispan as massive memory in my case for my purpose.

7. Re: Newbie question about synchronize the objects.
seto Jan 6, 2011 1:11 AM (in response to seto)= =OK. I'll refresh by hand. It seems that. All 3 modes is not distributing the changes, if it isn't replace in the cache again. The invalidation is only distrbuting change message to load the data again from cachestore. They are all unable to refresh the cache object automatically.
