how many records can be displayed in rich:datatable

Hi,

Can any one tell me how many records will be displayed in rich:datatable in one shot.

I have around 3000 records and 15 columns. Is it possible to display all the records at one time.

Is there any limitation for rich:datatable?

I guess that the most important limitation is max count of users online in your application. Because if you have 1-2 users I guess 3000 records is not a limit(Of course time of request processing and its size could be significant). But if you have 50 users it could simply crash your app.

except the server side performance - you should care about client side. if you planning to use some rich inputs, tooltips and so on in columns - too many JavaScript objects initialized could also hang the browser.
