1. using loaders, can we load data from our own DB Table rather than ISPN cache store?
mircea.markus Feb 23, 2011 12:29 PM (in response to amalrajvinoth)I want to load custom data using put() into cache from custom DB table(not cache store with predefined structure).
You can write a custom CacheLoader for that.
load data when an entry is invalidated?
Not sure I understand the question.

load data when an entry is invalidated?
Not sure I understand the question.
I mean, in invalidation mode,
when an entry is invalidated from cache, i want to load some custom data for the same key from my own database (not from cache store) ,

3. using loaders, can we load data from our own DB Table rather than ISPN cache store?
galder.zamarreno Mar 4, 2011 10:09 AM (in response to amalrajvinoth)Amal, once again the Infinispan source code is full of custom cache loaders and interceptors. I'd highly recommend you browse around and see which one might fit your use case better. Should be easy enough to do with a good IDE and some brain action
For the invalidation question, maybe you could have a listener with a method annotated with @CacheEntryInvalidated so that you can capture when data is invalidated?
