ohmygod Mar 20, 2011 8:38 AM (in response to wdfink)Thanks very much. Any other component like those did not exist in JBoss 4 ever? Because I saw a lot more jars in JBoss 6 than version 4.

3. what are the improvements on JBoss 6.0 compared with JBoss 4
wdfink Mar 20, 2011 9:54 AM (in response to ohmygod)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThere is much more in JBoss4, but with JBoss5 a new JBoss kernel is implemented with a lot of changes.
Also JEE5 is complete implemented.
So in fact with JBoss6 there are implementation of the JEE specifications and I suppose a bunch of new features.
You should visit http://www.jboss.org/jbossas and look into the documentation and release notes.
AFAIK the JBoss6 dokuments are not up to date in every case
