Richfaces 4 <a4j:commandButton> stop working with converter

Hello everyone,

I have a simple form and when I add an converter (<f:converter converterId="cpfConverter"/>) inside an input, any a:commandButton in the form stop working.

The converter seems to be ok, and it works fine if I change a:commandButton for h:commandButton.

With a:commandButton it does not give any error message, it just does not call the action.

If I take out any converters in the form, the a:commandButton works fine.

I am using Richfaces 4 CR1 and the JSF 2 implmentantion from JBoss 6.

Can anybody help me?

Please add phase tracker to the application and check what phases of lifecycle have been executed.

I am sorry,

I added the phase tracker and saw that everything works fine. It was skipping UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES because the converter was raising an exception and I forgot to add to rerender the error messages (h:messages) in the a:commandButton.

My bad, I am ashamed, the a:command is working fine. This discussion can be deleted if possible.
