Alpha / Beta version of RichFaces for JSF 2.0

Good afternoon,

We are going to be starting development of the next of version of product, slated for a late Q4-09 or early Q1-10 release date.

Due to the timing of the release I would prefer to use the latest version of RichFaces and JSF, thus avoiding integration /migration effort late in the project.

Thus when do you expect the first Alpha / Beta version of RichFaces 4 to be available based upon JSF 2.0

I fully expect that there will be some "bleeding edge" type of issues with using the alpha / beta of RichFaces 4 but expected that to be much less of an issue once we start to get later in the year.

Hello,

We are going to be having a big face-2-face meeting next week in Brno Czech Republic where we will be discussing these very things. There is a lot to figure out and we should have more answers after the meeting.

I'm guessing we will have an ALPHA release sometime in July that really will be bleeding edge, and the BETAs closer to end of August/September time frame. As I said these are just guess's right now and we'll know more soon.
