1. Re: Is java.util.Array list gng to be a problem for rich:tre
meghiddo Jun 8, 2009 6:30 PM (in response to meghiddo)hmm, here is what was left out for some reason:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> - <measurementProjectCollection> - <measurementProject> <projectId>wsnPondMeasurements</projectId> <name>WSN Pond Measurements</name> <permissions class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <devices class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <channels class="java.util.ArrayList" /> </measurementProject> - <measurementProject> <projectId>exampleProject1</projectId> <name>exampleProject1</name> <permissions class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <devices class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <channels class="java.util.ArrayList" /> </measurementProject> </measurementProjectCollection>
these three lines have been giving me trouble in other areas:<permissions class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <devices class="java.util.ArrayList" /> <channels class="java.util.ArrayList" />
so I am wondering if they will also be a problem when it comes to using xml as the data source for a rich tree? -

nbelaevski Jun 8, 2009 6:55 PM (in response to meghiddo)Tree can not work with your XML directly. You provide the model, tree component displays data from the model. XML attributes like class="..." cannot be a problem themselves, that's just attributes that do not have any special meaning in XML as a language.
I'd recommend you to make tree working on static mock data and only then switch to dynamic model.
P.S. Please do not duplicate threads. -

+ this one
As I can see, all threads are dedicated to the implementation of the same use case, so they duplicate each other. -
5. Re: Is java.util.Array list gng to be a problem for rich:tre
meghiddo Jun 9, 2009 12:52 AM (in response to meghiddo)I see, I thought since they were all different problems they should go in separate threads, but I will keep this in mind for future reference
