iLog in ESB

My company currently uses JBoss AS and ESB.

We are looking at using the iLog rules engine.

I was wondering if anyone had a good resource or some information on using iLog in an ESB environment instead of Drools.

Out of the box they are conflicting so I am assuming I have to remove Drools and substitute in iLog.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi J,

The rules.esb archive contains the drools artifacts. In it are also ESB rules interfaces used by the integration. You will have to provide the iLog implementation of those interfaces.

Is there any documentation on these ESB rules interfaces?

I am guessing things like the content based routing are dependant on them.

Are you aware of any iLog implimentation of these interfaces?

I think it's only one interface:

I think the javadoc and the implementation for drools are all you need for documentation.

I'm not aware of an existing iLog implementation, but it would be a nice extention to post here: http://code.google.com/p/breakingwoods/
