Deployed application not appearing in GateIn portal

Hi,

I have deployed a simple application in \gatein_project\packaging\jboss-as6\pkg\target\jboss\server\default\deploy

But, its not appearing in GateIn portal..  It appears in Jboss AS 6 admin console.

In such case where could I be  going wrong?

Did you  go to Application Registry portlet --> click "Import Application" ?

Maybe you forgot to include portlet.xml in your WEB-INF.
