pmuir Jul 5, 2011 8:26 AM (in response to sudheerk84)AIUI Async mode means that commands are sent async. Events are fired on only key owners. So you will find that from the perspective of the node performing the operation the event will be fired async.

galder.zamarreno Jul 6, 2011 4:45 AM (in response to pmuir)To further clarify, synch at the listener level only refers to whether the transport layer that receives an event for a key will use the same thread to make the callback, or it will instead spawn a different thread. If the listener code could be lengthy, synch should be set to false to avoid blocking the transport thread.
