Custom components

Is it poosible to create custom components with RichFaces without using Component Development Kit (CDC)?

Hi,

Of course. CDK provides code generation facilities, however you can write the code manually if you wish.

I just started with JSF and RichFaces...
So, is it possible to create "composite" components consisted of many other richfaces components. How difficult (easy) it would be?

explore facelets documentation. Seems you could use just create custom facelet.
