JBOSS AS 5 and JBOSS SSO

Greetings!

Recently I got a requirement to implement JBOSS SSO for my client.

When I went through the forums and the wiki, I saw that

1)JBOSS SSO  cannot be implemented with JBOSS AS-5.

2)JBOSS SSO works only with JBOSS federation server. It wont works with Oracle Federation Server or Active Directory Federation Server(ADFS)

Those posts are bit older and I am confused about the status now.

Can anyone please help me to figure it out?

If it is not possible with JBOSS AS-5, can you point some other options to implement the same functionality(Federated login)

Is Jboss Identity a replacement for JBOSS SSO?

Hi,

I am not sure about this, but it seems like "JBoss SSO" is dead. The most recent download if from 2007.

But maybe "JBoss PicketLink" is a replacement. At least there is a "PicketLink based SSO" FAQ ;-): http://community.jboss.org/wiki/PicketLinkSSOFAQ
