1. Re: How would you create a custom classloader in AS7?
alesj Jul 24, 2011 4:00 PM (in response to jkreska)1 of 1 people found this helpfulI am trying to develop a custom classloader that all the ears in my AS7 install will share to load jars over the network.
What mechanisim would be best for this? I started with a module but I am not sure it will do the trick because the classpath is dynamic, based on the content of each directory the classloader scans.
Perhaps this my experiment will give you some ideas:

2. Re: How would you create a custom classloader in AS7?
jkreska Jul 25, 2011 2:55 PM (in response to alesj)I think I can make this work if ModuleXmlParser.parseResourcePaths was defined in 7.0 Final.
Do you know how I can get the resource paths from the ModuleXml?

jkreska Jul 25, 2011 5:17 PM (in response to jkreska)Based on the remote module loader idea I think I will simply rsync the modules from a central repository to each of the nodes.
