riggs Aug 13, 2011 4:37 PM (in response to theoverlord)My job doesn't depend on that (at least I hope so ), but we plan to go live with JBoss 7 next week or the week after next (depends on our guys of IT operations ).

theoverlord Aug 13, 2011 11:47 PM (in response to riggs)I can assure you that if I go live with AS7 and it goes Kaput, so will my job
Srsly, I think I'll wait for 7.1 to come out.

nickarls Aug 14, 2011 4:15 AM (in response to theoverlord)Evaluate it like any new technology. If you are fired for a bad technology decision that you did your best to evaluate, you needed a new job anyway. If you put something in critical production without testing it first, you deserve to be fired ;-)
If they call the release "7.0.0.RockSolid" or "7.0.0.BestEffort", it's the same thing.

simas_ch Aug 15, 2011 10:38 AM (in response to theoverlord)We are currently evaluation JBoss AS 7.1.0-ALPHA from nightly build. It works fine so far.
But we allways use JBoss EAP in production. So we will wait until JBoss EAP 6 (which will base on AS 7.1) comes out in early 2012.
