1. Re: ajaxValidator programmatically
elf Jul 31, 2009 9:38 AM (in response to elf)I found
import org.richfaces.component.html.HtmlCalendar;
...
HtmlAjaxValidator myAjaxValidator= new HtmlAjaxValidator();
here
http://www.jboss.org/file-access/default/members/jbossrichfaces/freezone/docs/devguide/en/html_single/index.html
, but look like it is wrong. -
2. Re: ajaxValidator programmatically
alexsmirnov Jul 31, 2009 6:12 PM (in response to elf)I suggest to use Use application.createComponent(UIBeanValidator.COMPONENT_TYPE) instead of 'new' for RichFaces 3.3.2.GA. Html... Component classes are generated by CDK and could be changed.
Also, the component name could be changed to UIAjaxValidator with future RichFaces versions because we decided to keep name "BeanValidator" for validator ID itself. -
3. Re: ajaxValidator programmatically
elf Aug 1, 2009 3:19 AM (in response to elf)I tried to use
UIComponent validator = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getApplication().createComponent(UIBeanValidator.COMPONENT_TYPE);
Which class should I cast 'validator ' to have possibility to attach event (onblur) to object ?
Is there manual with correspondens between tag and programmatically method of creating component ?
Thanks in advance. -
