"rowIndexVar" in <rich:dataTable> ?

Hi!

Before, I used the parameter "rowIndexVar" with <t:dataTable> ("t" is tomaHawk) but now I need to use "<rich:dataTable>", but the parameter "rowIndexVar" doesn't exist.

How  can I replace it?

Guys if you need to work with indexes it much better to use iterationStatusVar. It provides access to index of the row, odd/even flags, first/last flags and so on.

rowKey will not work properly after sorting/filterging as it will still reflect row keys and not just indexes and with custom rowKeys defined in model.
