1. Re: What's the difference between "Web Profile Only" and "Everything"
wdfink Sep 26, 2011 7:09 AM (in response to tonytang)I suppose you try to download AS7, right?
The Web-Profile is the part of JEE6 that is already certified, but this is only a part of the functionality.
If you download everything you will have more, but this is not certified at the moment.
If you need a ful certified JEE server you might try a different version.

3. Re: What's the difference between "Web Profile Only" and "Everything"
wdfink Sep 29, 2011 2:39 AM (in response to tonytang)No, JBoss6 is not full certified.
The Web-Profile means that AS7 is only certified for this part of JEE6.
JBoss 5.1 is a JEE5 certified server and JBoss7 will be certified for JEE6 soon.
Commercial use is not a problem, you might use the community editions 5.1/6.x/7.x if it works for you.
If you need a reliable version with support and a longer maintenance your company should think about a 'supscription',
see http://www.jboss.com/services/subscriptions/ for more informations.
