ppitonak Nov 21, 2011 3:31 AM (in response to ashis3011)Hi,
a4j:actionParam in RichFaces 4 was renamed to a4j:param. You can find more information in Component Reference (http://docs.jboss.org/richfaces/4.1.X/4.1.0.CR1/Component_Reference/en-US/html/).

ashis3011 Nov 21, 2011 5:29 AM (in response to ppitonak)Hi Pavol,
Thank you so much for your reply. It worked for me but now I am facing problem for accessing client variable in the value attribute of a4j:param.
my code is like this,
<h:form id="formid">
<h:outputScript>
function radiomethod(){
return document.getElementById("formid:radioValue").value;
}
</h:outputScript>
<h:inputHidden id="radioValue" />
<a4j:jsFunction name="functionName" action="#{mybean.actionmethod}" >
<a4j:param name="param" value="radiomethod();" noEscape="true" />
</a4j:jsFunction>
</h:form>
Can you please point how can I access the client variable from in the value attribute.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks

ppitonak Nov 25, 2011 4:58 AM (in response to ashis3011)Do you mean how to access that value from the bean? If yes, then you need to assign that value to some property of your bean using assignTo attribute of a4j:param. Moreover, the attribute value should contain radiomethod() - without semicolon.
You can find more information about a4j:param in the Component Reference [1].
