1. Re: Problem in configuring datasource file -JBoss 5.1.0GA
wdfink Nov 18, 2011 10:52 AM (in response to dinsceg)There should be ERROR's during the start, please delete the server.log and start the JBoss to get a clean logfile and attach it.

weston.price Nov 18, 2011 8:10 PM (in response to dinsceg)The message is telling you that something you have deployed is dependent on:
jboss.jca:name=OracleDS,service=NoTxCM
This looks like something requires an Oracle DataSource. What have you deployed, or are trying to deploy, beyond the standard JBoss components?

dinsceg Nov 21, 2011 1:46 AM (in response to weston.price)Hi Weston,
Thanks for your reply.
I have deployed oracle-ds.xml file in the deploy folder. I am not getting any exception, while starting the server i am getting this ecxeption only.
DEPLOYMENTS MISSING DEPENDENCIES:
Deployment ":service=AdapterScheduler" is missing the following dependencies:
Dependency "jboss.jca:name=OracleDS,service=NoTxCM" (should be in state "Create", but is actually in state "** NOT FOUND Depends on 'jboss.jca:name=OracleDS,service=NoTxCM' **")
DEPLOYMENTS IN ERROR:
Deployment "jboss.jca:name=OracleDS,service=NoTxCM" is in error due to the following reason(s): ** NOT FOUND Depends on 'jboss.jca:name=OracleDS,service=NoTxCM' **
Thanks in Advance,
Dinesh V.

6. Re: Problem in configuring datasource file -JBoss 5.1.0GA
wdfink Nov 21, 2011 4:55 AM (in response to dinsceg)Yes, the OracleDS is deployed correct
but
I suppose that this is a LocalTxCM service instead of NoTxCM service.
If you want have transactional behaviour you should change the dependency of the application.
If not change the DS file from <local-tx-datasource> to <no-tx-datasource>.
See http://community.jboss.org/wiki/configdatasources for this.
