SAR deployment with mbean attribute of java.math.BigDecimal type: unable to find PropertyEditor

Hi,

when deploying a sar with mbean attribute of java.math.BigDecimal type following warning appears in log:

14:14:11,010 WARN  [org.jboss.as.deployment.service] (MSC service thread 1-1) Unable to find PropertyEditor for type class java.math.BigDecimal

trying to reuse PropertyEditorManagerService from 5.x but plenty of exceptions have raised

finally I've found a solution by reusing/fixing PropertyEditorManagerService from 4.x/5.x

I'm going to describe it in a separate article along with other 4.x/5.x -> 7migration issues that I have met (and solved :-)

ok this is a quick and dirty workaround:

• add source files bellow into your project, make then available under the package org.jboss.system
• ensure that ServiceMBeanSupport is the superclass of your service beans
• add dependency on module org.jboss.common-core

finally instead of the warning you should see info message "added bootstrap property editors" in server.log
