1. Re: JBoss installation problem ClassLoader
wdfink Jan 6, 2012 10:57 AM (in response to manolakis)Check your JAVA path.
I suppose you use a Java5 and AS7 is compiled with Java6.
If you build it yourselve ensure that you use a runtime Java version which is equal or greater that the compiler version.
You can set the runtimer JAva path in the bin/standalone.conf (or with .bat for Windows).
remove the '#' in the #JAVA_HOME line and set the path to the required JAVA.

manolakis Jan 6, 2012 1:25 PM (in response to wdfink)Hi,
First of all thanks for your reply. I would like to ask you again for some help because I am really confused with the java editions and updates for MAC computers. My java version is 1.5.0_30. Do you know which is the appropriate update to upgrade to 1.6 ?
Thank you.

wdfink Jan 6, 2012 2:09 PM (in response to manolakis)I never used a MAC
So I found hints that you should use the 'software update' whitin the menu.
And the link http://developer.apple.com/java/ and http://support.apple.com/kb/DL848
Maybe this will help you
