1. Re: Change template file for datatable tag and disable javas
ilya_shaikovsky Sep 28, 2009 8:13 AM (in response to alderaan)CDK Renderer templates used by CDK at component build time. So you should checkout the component from SVN, modify the tempate as you need and rebuild it.

alderaan Sep 28, 2009 10:15 AM (in response to alderaan)Thanks for your response, so I have to checkout the source and modify the template "table.jspx" at "org.richfaces.renderkit.html.templates", right?
What about disabling javascript? is there an option to avoid using javascript in the datatable tag?
Thanks in advance -
3. Re: Change template file for datatable tag and disable javas
vgarmash Sep 28, 2009 11:01 AM (in response to alderaan)If you have the requirement to avoid Javascripts in general then I am afraid you can't use Richfaces at all because all components use Javascript for some it's features. Ajax itsels is Javascript based technology and Richfaces use it a lot.
For you if you need to use pure components without Javascript then you can use plain JSF components only:- http://java.sun.com/javaee/javaserverfaces/1.2_MR1/docs/tlddocs/index.html

ilya_shaikovsky Sep 28, 2009 11:35 AM (in response to alderaan)I believe that table encodes scripts only if filtering or sorting used at least using latest version (it requires ajax related stuff)

vgarmash Sep 28, 2009 2:45 PM (in response to alderaan)You can easily test if anything works without Javascript using Firefox. Just go to Tools->Options->Content and deselect checkbox "Enable Javascript" and click OK. Then you will see if it works when Javascript is disabled.
