onur.aktas Feb 13, 2009 10:46 AM (in response to ntsankov)Hi ntsankov,
Additionally you can use Apache Httpd + mod_jk for serving your static content, which is more efficient. -

ntsankov Feb 16, 2009 3:25 AM (in response to ntsankov)Thanks jaikiran, I did a search but I somehow missed this post.
To sum up the solution that kinda works for me:
1. put your static content folders inside a parent folder (e.g /home/user/static) and rename them to end with ".war" (e.g. images -> images.war)
2. modify conf/bootstrap/profile.xml<list elementClass="java.net.URI"> <!-- Standard hot deployment directory --> <value>${jboss.server.home.url}deploy/</value> <value>/home/user/static/</value> ...
Then the content is available at {host:port}/images
Thank you too onur.aktas, I was hoping to have a JBoss only solution though
