    Seam 3 Conversation Switcher?

In CDI/Seam 3, is there any equivalent to the conversation switcher in Seam 2?

Do conversations automatically know about the last view used?

No, and I don't think so. Not the standard conversation at least. You create your own Conversation scope (and work around some of the annoyances that currently exist such as this one, or nested conversations).

Okay.  Any ideas on where to start with making my own conversation scope?

You can take a look at how Weld created the scope, or OWB. CODI also has their own implementation of a Conversation scope.
