1. Re: Weld 1.0.1.CR2 available for inspection!
hirowla.ian.rowlands.three.com.au Feb 11, 2010 2:49 AM (in response to asookazian)Thanks for the update. Damn it missing the M2 release, so that will be the first thing I do once I get hold of M2.
Do we know if the JBoss integration changes made it (I was thinking of JBAS-7671 in particular, see my previous posts about message driven beans)? I'm waiting of 3 bugs to be fixed in M2 (@EJB exceptions, and the 2 MDB ones) plus the Servlet integration so I can go full throttle on my project.
Thanks,
Ian

chasetec Feb 22, 2010 8:11 PM (in response to asookazian)How do I go about using 1.0.1-CR2 on GlassFish v3?
I tried using the updatetool in GlassFish and I don't see anything CDI or Weld related.
I tried to download Weld directly but sourceforge seems to be broken at the moment. Is it as simple has replacing some jars? Or is the download for SE apps?

I tried using the updatetool in GlassFish and I don't see anything CDI or Weld related. The trunk of Glassfish is still set for 1.0.0-SP4 and the latest dev version of GFv3's Weld Integration module still hasn't been patched to work with Weld 1.0.1: https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=11435
That said, the Weld OSGI bundles are available from Maven Central: http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/jboss/weld/weld-osgi-bundle/. If the integration bundle worked right, it should be as simple as stopping the server, replacing the old bundle with the new (I keep the name the same) and starting back up. Should be...

asookazian Feb 27, 2010 6:24 AM (in response to asookazian)Why isn't there a weld-1.0.1-CR2 directory in the zip (top-most directory so I don't have to create it before/while I unzip the zip)?
I just downloaded and extracted resin-4.0.4.zip and there is a resin-4.0.4 directory in the zip.
