JBoss Tools, Importing Seam 201 Examples into Eclipse.

Hello,

I have the following:

Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1
JbossTools-2.0.0.GA-ALL-linux-gtk.zip
jboss-seam-2.0.1.GA and jboss-4.2.2.GA .

I’m trying to make the jboss-seam-2.0.1.GA/examples/dvdstore into an Eclipse project.

Has anyone done this? Any recommendations on best way to proceed?

If not,  does anyone know if there is documentation for the Eclipse/Jboss Tools requirement for the “Four Folders” per Seam project?

The easiest way, which is a bit ad hoc, is to click file->import->ear in eclipse and choose the ear file created by the ant script. This will import all resources and the project structure, but not the source files (*.java). So you need to copy those from the example directory to the ejb-module's/src directory.

This approach is quite well described (for a war file, however) here.

Will not work.

Apparently the tooling really does require the infamous “four folders per project” foundation before the Seam-jbossTools/Eclipse combination can come into play.

Anyone else?
