Look for another session

I need to notify another user (remove something from his session) if he is logged in.

Sessions are meant to be secure from each other - I had a similar requirement at my previous company. 

I would recommend something like:

• event/observer object in the application scope


• polling common data for changes in state.


• something similar to the remoting/chatroom example  using JMS and seam remoting.
