this example uses the <rich:columnGroup> concept
i want an example which doesnot use this

You can find how to download demo sources from here: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/RichFacesWikiHomePage or download .war file, unpack and replace rich:columnGroup with five standalone columns.
What kind of example do you need?
