Trinidad Lightweight Dialogs and Seam conversations?

The solution for making Trinidad dialogs work with Seam conversations is fine for heavy-weight Trinidad dialogs (opening in a new browser window):
Trinidad and Seam in the Apache Wiki

However it fails with Trinidad lighweight dialogs (which are opened in the same browser window).

Any ideas?

I managed to get Trinidad's lighweight dialogs working with Seam conversations.
