Anyone using the identity logging feature?

I have the logging filter enabled for my seam extension but the mapped diagnostics context still turns out null when I debug my log4j appender.

Attaching the seam source I see that it does get set in the filter, but I get nulls or empty HashMap for all combinations of getMDCCopy() / getMDC(username)

Any theories? Hate to log a JIRA for something that is probably an user error...

I have the identity logging filter enabled to but am seeing nothing additional in my logs; did you ever figure out what the error was?
