<core:resource-loader> <core:bundle-names> <value>mycompany_messages</value> <value>standard_messages</value> </core:bundle-names> </core:resource-loader>
Then by default your code will look through each bundle, optionally you can specify the particular bundle if you want.
You can call it from thefront end with -
FacesMessages.instance().addFromResourceBundleOrDefault(
