trigger a4:poll on page loading

Hi all,

is there a way to trigger the action of an a4j:poll component
directly after the page has been loaded and not only after
the first interval has elapsed?

Any hints are appreciated!

use not poll but jsFunction. and call registered function using jQuerry(document).ready() then request will be sent right after page load.
