1. Re: self-written DataModel as @DataModel for true pagination
matt.drees Oct 22, 2008 3:31 AM (in response to juergen.hartler)For these sorts of requests, you probably should submit a Jira feature request.
In the meantime, you might look into using the DataBinder mechanism, which is how @DataModel is implemented. Potentially just create your own new annotation, copy/paste org.jboss.seam.databinding.DataModelBinder, and tweak a few things.

juergen.hartler Oct 22, 2008 7:49 AM (in response to juergen.hartler)Dear Matt!
Yes you are right an JIRA request would be better:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3608
To implement an own annotation instead of the @DataModel was my first intention as well, but I was not really sure if it is correct what I am doing and then I did not follow up this possibility.
I think it is not a problem for me to wait until it is added in a newer release of seam since I can meanwhile live quite well with my self-compiled code of seam-2.0.2.SP1.
Many thanks for your help and your quick reply,
Juergen -
